Mark the date - Southampton University will run the distance of the Great Wall of China!

But... why?

To raise money for AICR (The Association of International Cancer Research) to help them combat the hardest and most perplexing challenge modern medicine has had to face.

How does it work?

You choose a distance you want to run; in kilometres. You then pay £1 for each kilometre you want to run, which all goes straight to AICR. On top of this, if you want you can fundraise more money by getting sponsors from friends and families, because what you are doing is pretty impressive. Obviously, the payment you give to us can be reimbursed from your sponsorships if you want (we're believers that raising money for charity shouldn't cost you anything!), we just ask for it up front to ensure you'll come along and run! You also pick a timeslot during which you would like to turn up and run your nominated distance.
